My Samsung Freestyle 2 projector fell from a cabinet and sustained damaged to the cradle. I attempted to bend the metal cradle back into shape but it remained compromised and as a result would tilt over when used a certain angles. I contacted Samsung spare parts but they responded to say they were unable to find the part. Several fruitless internet searches later and I was bracing myself for a £600-£800 outlay for a replacement projector, before I stumbled across fixpart.co.uk. I was a little sceptical as the cradle was advertised on fixpart.co.uk as a genuine Samsung part despite Samsung themselves being unable to source the part and I'd also read a small number of trust pilot reviews from customers claiming to have purchased parts which didn't arrive or took several weeks or months for delayed delivery. I decided to proceed with the order at risk, prepared to write off the £60 (£50 + VAT + reasonable £5.79 processing and delivery charge) order as seemed sensible vs. cost of a entirely new projector. I ordered from the UK at 7pm Friday evening of the May bank holiday weekend, I received an instant order confirmation email and tracking link, the part was dispatched that day and I took delivery of the part the following Tuesday afternoon via DPD (essentially next working day with Monday being bank holiday). The part was a genuine Samsung like for like replacement which took less than two minutes to fit, meaning the projector is fully functioning once more. I was able to track the parcel throughtout and yes, as consistent with other reviews, the parcel was processed from France, but that made no difference to my experience. Very happy with the order process, communication, tracking, delivery and quality of the part received. Price and delivery seemed pretty reasonable too, though the lack of alternatives sellers means there's no way of comparing the price. Overall would highly recommend from my experience.

Because FixPart is a .co.uk website, I assumed any returns would be to a UK address, especially considering how prominently they advertise their green credentials. I had a shock when they instructed me to return the part to Italy. I sent the parcel back via Evri 4 weeks ago, but FixPart have since ignored all of my emails requesting an update on this return. I feel completely ripped off.

Short Delivery - extremely poor service

Ordered 20 off part , received 5 off , progressed via web shop for the balance of the items which we paid for and still awaiting update 3 days later. also checked the same item on the web-shop and still showing as STOCK -1-3 days delivery!! We are still waiting a week later and still no update as to when we will receive

Total failure, use E-Spares instead.

Part, supposedly in stock and due to arrive next day or at least within 3 days, listed to be despatched 10 weeks later, without any notification. Customer support only available by email, with at least two-day response delay. In comparison, E-Spares delivered on the dot within 36 hours via DPD's notified one hour slot.

Delivery not on time. No updates....I had to chase delivery to get an update/response. I had impression that part was being delivered from UK when, in fact, it was sourced and shipped from France - When ordering (& in follow up emails) I made clear that the part was needed urgently.....I feel misled with poor followup

Damaged on arrival

Received the small part I ordered and it was physically damaged - the metal corner was bent and distorted. I've been in contact with customer services and they are advising that I need to wait as they need to discuss with the manufacturer. I've asked for a refund instead as I don't see why it should be my problem?

Bought a complete lamp holder for a amica fridge recieved and no lamp holder !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ Wot was the point of that Bulb melted bulb holder and clear plastic lense so I now have to buy lamp holder and wait prob another week not impressed sorry you have been good in the past .

misleading pic - poor returns service

Part I ordered was a power wash tip, and it was not clear (pics or description) if this was a complete replacement or just a cap. But.... with returns I thought worth a try. Turns out it was just an overpriced outer, and the returns department are now messing about and have still not agreed a return.

None genuine part and half order missing. No response so having to contact bank for refund

Firstly, the part wasn't genine epson as stated, it was slightly different dimensions and i had to remove a small section of plastic from the printer to get it to fit Secondly half the order was missing and despite messaging over 5 days ago, no response, I will be contacting the bank for a refund.

Bad quality drawer. Threw out with trash as broke within a week. Now have to buy another. Contacted customer services and requested discount on another one and was refused. Nearly 25 quid for a fridge milk drawer drawer which is now going to cost me nearer 50 quid. Might as well get a new fridge!

So overpriced !

I needed a replacement drawer for a Liebherr freezer. I bought what I thought was a complete drawer for £61.35 but found I needed a drawer front as well I was referred to the additional part which I then ordered for £69.01. A total of £130 for two flimsy pieces of plastic is an absolute rip off

The part was fine, the problem is the ordering process, when inputting my address, my house has no number only a name, it states if no number put in number 1 (mandatory) and we will sort it out. My package was delivered to number 1, nearly 1 mile from my house. Pure luck that I received it.

Took months to arrive and wrong part

Took months to arrive, and when it finally arrived it was the wrong part. I emailed asking for the right part and they said they don't have it, and I had to send my part back to get a refund (which I had to pay postage on). Also only communication came fron noreply emails, very frustrating

Only the price was any good

I failed to notice that this company appears not to be based in the UK. Appallingly slow dispatch and delivery, to the extent that I went and bought the required part from another company, (which took only 3 days to deliver). Price ok. Can't comment on the part because I didn't use it.

Extremely poor service and definitely would not recommend

Very poor service. Do not expect a swift response, I emailed to chase delivery and oh god was this next to impossible. Also, if you try arrange a return, they charge around £7.50. There are a lot of other companies out there so please explore before committing to purchase with them.

Avoid like the plague. Not UK

I actually can't believe that you have the audacity to ask for a review. Ordered a lock for a washing machine door, two day delivery became two weeks, from somewhere in France. Asked for refund and got an ignorant reply with mega instructions to send it back at my own expense

One week after placing the order and my money being taken I have not received any notification of shipping, so apart from initial e-mail confirming my order I have heard nothing further. I consider this lack of communication to be poor and I would not use this company again.

Awful. Never received what I ordered and when I contacted customer service they were not at all helpful. Had to go back to my credit card company to get my money back in the end after weeks of emailing them and getting no where. I would never order anything from them again

Horrendous customer service. A part they supplied went faulty after a few days. It’s taken weeks of back and forward via email (no phone line). Sending photos and videos and manufacturers data sheets for them to eventually agree to a return. Still haven’t received a refund!

My house does not have a number. I was instructed to put a 1 in the box and then enter the name further down which I did. My parcel has not been delivered yet and the address is 1 Mill Lane instead of Rodmell Hill House I have tried to contact them but no luck yet

Generally a reliable company but have been disappointed this time with delivery. As it stands I'm still waiting on my oven elements that are showing as being in France. I would have ordered from elsewhere had it been made known there would be issues with delivery.

When things go wrong the auto e.mail reply from you is not suitable.How do I get an instant response from a question created by your firm if it has generated a further query?.There does not appear anywhere where I can speak to a human to get an immediate response.
