Ordering was very easy on line and I am looking forward to getting my new mower however apart from an order conformation have heard nothing from them, which is a bit concerting, when you have paid a lot of money. I emailed them to get an ETA for delivery and was told it takes between 1-4 days and I would get a dispatch and tracking email. These times scales have now passed and despite a follow up email t them I haven't heard anything back from them so still no mower

Broken lawnmower on arrival

I purchased a lawn mower which arrived over 2 weeks ago. On unboxing it I discovered the wheel was broken making the lawnmower unusable. I instantly contacted them by email and phone with photos. They confirmed they would send out a replacement wheel. Still waiting over 2 weeks later with a lawnmower that may as well be a door stop. I have re emailed on a number of occasion with no reply from them. If I don't get a response soon I will be taking it up with my credit card company, and I'm so glad I paid using that method. I'm aware that the consumer rights act say the consumer shouldn't be inconvenienced, and I certainly have been. Customer services from this firm really need to improve

Delivery process poor.

Invested in a ride on tractor mower and was pleased with purchase. Waited for confirmation of despatch and this happened quickly but then nothing else. Chased up with company to see when tractor would be delivered and they said that they would look into it. Received an email saying it would be despatched shortly and then courier would be in touch. None of this happened and we started to think maybe we'd been scammed. Tractor then arrived at 8am one morning without warning. Slight damage to a piece of plastic but just relieved it got here at all. Probably wouldn't buy from them again.

Communication would be a great help. Placed an order over 2 weeks ago, received confirm of order and money was taken from my card on the same day. We have not had any corespondence since on what is happening with our purchase. Have tried ringing many times, the phone system puts you in a queue which when you reach the final stage just rings, was on the phone over 35 minutes on one occasion. Have emailed twice and no reply. Not at all impressed with the service and the only reason for giving one star is thats its only way to leave a review.

Half a loaf is better than none.

I ordered a wheel assembly. Just to check that this came with a new hub, washers and split pin I called the organisation. A recorded message said that they do not take calls in relation to parts and that I had to email. My gardener said "it must come with them, it's an assembly". I took the risk and got a wheel in a box, that fortunately had the tyre on it. Luckily, I rang another supplier who sent me the items immediately to enable me to fit the tyre the next day.

There is no mention of a new hub, washers or split pin on our description as these parts are specific to the various models of mower that this wheel assembly fits and need to be purchased separately. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. The highly discounted item I purchased had an inherent manufacturing fault. The after sales service was truly appalling and obfuscating. Months of unanswered calls, e mails and recorded delivery letters. On the rare occasions calls were answered staff attirude varied from indifference to bare faced lies. I had to resort to obtaining legal advice in order to obtain a refund. Best go elsewhere.

The product in question (a garden shredder) was heavily discounted because the manufacturer decided to discontinue the design after many years in production. It does not have an inherent fault as you suggest. However, the machine you purchased does appear to have an issue and we worked with you to try and resolve the problem. Not impressed and very disapppointed

Recently bought a tool on line. Took three times the max described time to arrive, over a fortnight. Very difficult to speak to anyone to ascertain whereabouts. When finally arrived I wished to discuss a fault. Having rung many times over several days, 14 calls in one day, and having left 2 messages I still haven't managed to speak to anyone. Clearly I will not use again unless something materially changes.

Part does not fit... return and refund required

The item I ordered arrived promptly, which is good. Unfortunately it does not fit my mower. I have sent an email to mowersonline (they will not answer parts enquiries by phone) with photographic evidence the part does not fit and requested a refund. As yet they have not even acknowledged receipt of my email. I will give them a few more days and then seek redress through my credit card company.

Hi, We have tried to contact you via email and we are waiting for a response from you. The gasket you have been supplied with is the correct gasket for the models listed on the product page but it is clear from the photographs you have supplied that it will not fit. In our email we asked for the serial number of the mower and the serial number of the engine (stamped onto the block). Once we have these we will speak to the techncial specialists in Mountfield to identify the correct gasket for your mower. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with their aftercare service! 5 days from being delivered i asked for their assistance as was a problem with the mower, didn’t answer emails and when they said they would call back with a plan to rectify the issue you never did! I’ll not be using yourself again nor will I recommend you to anyone I know in the trade.

Very slow in responding to issues and difficult to deal with

Had a complication with an accessory part I ordered for my mower. It's taken ages to get a response and still unresolved. Contacting by email is unresponsive and contacting by phone left hanging on in a queue for ages. Very poor customer service. First time using them so very poor first impression.

Very poor service. Promised a delivery day then no update when mower wasn’t delivered. When chased blamed Hayter the supplier for late delivery even though mower was in stock. When quizzed they stated they would cancel my order not good. Finally delivered by own transport

Held my payment for weeks. Told me that the mower was on its way from their warehouse. When it didn’t arrive on the delivery day I called them and was told that they didn’t have any. Then had to wait 5 days for a refund. Useless!

Absolutely terrible. Said had in stock and that it was sent, got an email saying it was not in stock, now three weeks later, not had anything, will never use again. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

After sales service non-existent

I’m not one to leave a bad review. I’ve tried contacting the company to sort out a problem with the machine sent to me. I’ve emailed and tried calling no reply or answer from any communications. My web push along vacuum was a fantastic machine but developed a problem. It was delivered quickly but before Ordering, please be aware that the after sales service is diabolical.

To start with they won’t deliver to the area of Scotland where I live despite it being a mainland postcode and address and secondly despite my carefully checking the part I needed against the picture of the same part on their website they have managed to send the wrong part to my father’s address which for me involves a 200 mile round trip so I’m far from impressed

they never answer phone when they do just pass the buck I've been chasing FedEx for a week who say they have tried to delivery 3 times had no correspondence from them say I need to contact company ... company say I need to track with FedEx both blame each other and I've no mower to say the least I'm not amused

We have also tried to call you several times to rearrange delivery but we have yet to speak to you.
