An absolute nightmare returning anything. Used to purchase regularly from Alpine Trek and had thought they were a UK company but recently bought some over trousers for my partner for her Christmas. They were a little small so returned them and ordered two other pairs to try. I then had to chase the refund for the first pair I’d returned and customer service replies weren’t exactly helpful, I was then concerned about returning the second pair as I was struggling to get a refund for the first return. Everything was having to go through customs before refunds were issued. Has put me off purchasing again, which is a pitty.

The photo looked green!
Bought a Mountain Equipment fleece for my husband, he is really pleased with it, although the photo definitely looked green on the website (as did other websites selling the same top) the colour does state graphite so had an idea it would be grey on arrival.

Great price for an Akto tent - best on the market! Also, received great customer service from one of your experts based in Germany, although I didn't catch their name. Detailed conversation about the size of the tent and the best material for a groundsheet!

Efficient and good product
Ordering and arrival of the product was in line with the timescales. The product pictures gave a good reflection of the item. Not the first time I have shopped with them and will definitely be back. I do like the unique European brands they offer.

Exceptional product
And ultimately this is what counts. Four stars not five because delivery was slower that anticipated, not that I’m in a rush, but if somebody else was ordering for a particular event, the good may not reach them in time.

Very good service and items well priced
The items arrived in original condition, well packed and protected. Tracking package a bit of an issue since it appears coming from Europe and tracking only came to live when in the the UK. Otherwise very good service and good prices.

Easy ordering process
It was very easy to place an order, there was regular communication and I am happy with my purchase.
The only thing was that I didn’t know when the driver was going to deliver the package. Evri did not send me a time slot.

I would definitely recommend Alpine Trek
I purchased a pair of trainers in October, but by January they had started falling apart. I emailed them, forwarded photos as requested & within a week received a full refund. Thank you for such great customer service.
