An absolute nightmare returning anything. Used to purchase regularly from Alpine Trek and had thought they were a UK company but recently bought some over trousers for my partner for her Christmas. They were a little small so returned them and ordered two other pairs to try. I then had to chase the refund for the first pair I’d returned and customer service replies weren’t exactly helpful, I was then concerned about returning the second pair as I was struggling to get a refund for the first return. Everything was having to go through customs before refunds were issued. Has put me off purchasing again, which is a pitty.

Efficient Service

Quick delivery, easy to return, easy to re-order. Had the product I wanted at an excellent price. Unfortunately shoes didn't fit (the brand had weird and inaccurate UK sizing) but loved them, so had to return which was straight forward and new shoes arrived in time for my walking holiday (perfect fit this time). Will definitely be a return customer

The items for my daughter - the fact that pure Merino products never smell and can been worn for days if necessary without odour coming from synthetic fibres in other products. Also love the Trusted shops guarantee at the end and the protection of Paypal as well. Hopefully the delivery will be before the 16th when we go abroad to colder climes!!

Excellent I live in the UK. I know what size I am with the companies I like to buy from. It takes usually 5 days to arrive from Europe, but I know they will fit,so no chance of having to return the garment.(Haven't received anything faulty to date) I buy from Alpine trek because they stock the makes I am looking for at cheaper prices

Slight delay but overall very happy.

Although there was a delay with delivery, this was a customs issue and out of the control of ALPINETREK, but this wasn't initially made clear to me. When the parcel eventually arrived it was packaged very well and the product was exactly as I ordered and the price was very competitive against most other retailers of this brand.

I was happy ....

I was happy with emails I received about when the package would arrive and how. It was as described. I am glad I have 100 days to return the item because it is a xmas present and may not be what is required. I am sure however, it will be fine. I feel confident that I could contact Alpinetrek if not.

Price was what I liked and to improve

Price was what I liked. To improve: information on delovery progress, my shipment wasn't late but was really hard to understand when the product will arrive. At the end, I had to start my product without the product to later learn that if I delayed my trip by 2 hours I could have the product...

Fang 35

As ordered, arrived within the time specified. The Mountain Equip Fang 35 is super - back length perfect, concerns about the bladder compatibility is not an issue as there is a sleeve and a slot that the tube can be routed out of the main body and over the shoulder strap. Well worth the money.

The quality of the boots is fantastic. I would'nt have any other than AKU but I really like Alpine Trek in that they stock much more of a variety of colours than others and their customer service and delivery are excellent. So will always buy from Alpine Trek because they are trustworthy.

Great choice of goods. Always very well packaged. Easy to return with quick refund. Always recommend. One thing I have noticed over a long period of buying from you, is that the delivery company never seems to inform of delivery date and time, so can’t always ensure we will be around.

Great company I fully recommend them.

Ive used this store a couple of times now. Delivery has slightly longer than if I had ordered in the UK but the prices given make up for that. Great customer service and the overall experience has been very positive. I will definitely be using them again for all my future purchases.

Excellent Pricing & Communications

I have purchased from Alpine Trek several times now for outdoor clothing and equipment, with deliveries to a UK address, and for me, the entire process from selection, payment, shipment notification, delivery, and communications (response time and clarity), have been excellent.

Easy company to buy from, great communication from them, Sizing of item is the only downside, I ordered a 2xl jacket that is sadly about the size of a larger - x larger at a push, although in saying that I do understand that’s the manufacturer at fault and not alpinetrek

Great but suffering from Brexit

Good products and prices (I bought Hoka walking shoes) and good communications re delivery. It didn’t matter too much to me but, sadly, like many businesses their deliveries takes several days due to Brexit causing delays on imports so some may need to bear that in mind.

I wanted to purchase a new ski jacket, and found what I needed, at a good price, at Alpine Trek. But I was a little concerned about shipment from Germany. I needy have worried. Alpine Trek kept me informed of order status, and my jacket arrived 6 days later!

It may take a while for the order to arrive, but that’s understandable as Alpinetrek in based abroad. Easy to order and arrived very well packed and always in immaculate condition. It’s also good to have a long return period and the Trusted Shops insurance.
