An absolute nightmare returning anything. Used to purchase regularly from Alpine Trek and had thought they were a UK company but recently bought some over trousers for my partner for her Christmas. They were a little small so returned them and ordered two other pairs to try. I then had to chase the refund for the first pair I’d returned and customer service replies weren’t exactly helpful, I was then concerned about returning the second pair as I was struggling to get a refund for the first return. Everything was having to go through customs before refunds were issued. Has put me off purchasing again, which is a pitty.

The shipment policy is poorly explained, especially for customers in the UK. I ordered within the working-day time window, but since Germany is one hour ahead, they did not consider my order to be during a working day. The parcel tracking is poor and the order was only shipped 3 days after ordering. When calling and asking for my order, the customer service hung up on me immediately after explaining that.

Good products let down by abysmal customer service from Alpine Trek & the delivery company Evri. Will never shop from here again.

Fine until you have a problem. If you do have an issue with a delivery they're not interested in helping. Very poor customer service. Shame as good products at some great prices. After my recent experience I will probably choose to pay a little more at a shop that has better customer service.

Accepted my order. Didn’t notify me it wasn’t in stock. When I enquired told me it had been cancelled internally but didn’t say why and told me to reorder and only when I asked why it had been cancelled told me it was out of stock. Appears they couldn’t organise a pissup in a brewery.

I shop at Alpine because of there customer service and excellent clothing and they have smaller sizes.
I have both expedition hiking cloths and casual clothing and I can say, I love shopping with them.
