Ordered Three AudioQuest Forest 48G HDMI Cables two 2 Meters and one 1 Meter on 7/1/24 Sun 7pm arrived 9/1/24 Tuesday at MD by Royal Mail. They were securely packages inside official AudioQuest Boxes and arrived undamaged. While futureshop weren't the cheapest (not a lot in it) others never showed the official packaging in their sales info and I was concerned you may not receive genuine AudioQuest Cables. I have used True HQ Ultra High Speed 2.1 & Clearer Audio Copper Line 2.1 HDMI Cables and as another reviewer said on a rival site if your not coming from Budged Cables the improvements aren't massive but they are there. I would say picture for me has improved the most with sharpness while sound is a little better defined in the high range! I would use futureshop again for my cable very pleased
Nothing like receiving an opportunity to review a product that hasn’t even been delivered yet! Poor communication and no idea when I will get my cables….
Comment since writing review above: I’m always impressed by companies that take the time to read and respond to reviews such as in this case. Although not entirely happy with the wait I appreciate it is out of Futureshops control

Great Advice...
In all the purchases I made from futureshop (I have made six all Chord cables) the advice and care that was given too myself too make sure I bought the correct ones was greatly appreciated by myself..
My Chord cables (Epic X aray) are still settling in nicely as time goes by they are sounding better than they did straight out of the box..The staff from futureshop even gave me the e-mail address of the Chord company as I wanted to buy a cable they we're sure about, as it was a specially configured cable for Naim pieces of equipment...
I e-mailed Chord and the the head of sales from Chord got in touch and told me where to buy as I don't live near a dealership that stocked what I needed to buy for my needs...
As the cable is extremely expensive I had out of curiosity a look on e-bay to see if there was any second-hand ones listed.
I found someone who was selling a new one in the box and he was taking offers, I made one which was a £1,000 pounds less than the R.R.P. it is in my system now and sounding amazing.
None of this I could do without the great advice from futureshop and the Chord company.
I would recommend futureshop to anyone who asked me where to go to buy cables and too receive great advice...

Honest members of staff I spoke too…
All the members of staff I spoke too where very helpful and gave me great advice for example when I asked about jumper leads for my speakers to go with the speaker cable I had bought from them already from them the member of staff told me you will need this quality and not the higher and more expensive set of jumper leads I was looking at...Also when I asked about replacing the HDMI cable for a "Chord Company" one I told them what I already had and the adviser was very honest told that the one I had is more than enough for my needs, so instead thinking about a sale for a more expensive cable he thought about the service he gave me, it made a refreshing change for a company thinking about great advice and service and not thinking about selling a more expensive product.. All the cables except the speaker ones I bought where "Naim" din connectors and if you know anything these particular cables they are a bit of a nightmare as most of them configured with a certain amount of connecting pins and different degree angles so between myself and different members staff we negotiated the cable types I needed..All in all I had a great shopping experience I can't praise the staff at "Future Shop" enough..

I was fortunate to have Steve to attend to my order. Not only did Steve manage to answer my queries, he also taught me new things such as how to bi-wire speakers using alternative +ve and -ve wires into the high and low frequency binding posts respectively. Steve also shared the differences between the various tiers of cables. Steve always try to be prudent and recommend only the best available for your setup, without overselling stuff overkills (example: my bookshelves speakers only need Chord Shawline for max performance, and Steve told me it’s already the best available for budget for value. He didn’t upsell me something which my setup is unable to receive. This service impressive as he acted like my honest friend. I will definitely be back again for more… 🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Futureshop is an admirable company. Provides high quality service: Serious advice to customers, products with a very good price-quality ratio and dispatch very quickly. The problem is that, it is your right, but the Brexit decision was bad for the company and European customers. My order shipped very quickly and efficiently by Futureshop, on the 21st, today the 29th has not yet been received due exclusively to problems and customs delays in the "importation" process from a country that does not belong to the EU. Orders I made previously, when the UK was part of the EU, took a maximum of 2 days. Now, after 8 days I still haven't received the order. Do you understand the issue?

Cable para altavoz Audioquest Type 5.
Buenas tardes!. Me gustó la rapidez con la que se realizaron las gestiones del pedido y del envío (Royal Mail); han sido realmente eficientes; lo que no me ha gustado es que el cable ha llegado embalado en una caja de cartón y envuelto en un plástico; se ha incluido en la caja una pequeña esponja. Este cable lo he visto embalado en la propia caja de la marca (Audioquest) de 2,5 m en el que se detallan las características y especificaciones y además trae una pequeña herramienta (llave) para apretar o aflojar las conexiones; no venía la llave ni tampoco embalado en su caja; esto realmente no me ha gustado. Añadir por último que el cable es excelente.

With all my shopping from future shop all of the staff members I have had dealings with have been very helpful answering my questions about items I was thinking of buying, with their help I have avoided making expensive mistakes...

Excellent service …
I ordered an aerial cable which arrived very quickly. Unfortunately it was the wrong attachments ( my fault entirely)!!
I rang the company and spoke to Geoff , I explained the problem and he went through the type of connections I would need .. he was brilliant and explained what I needed to buy . He arranged for a replacement to be sent out that afternoon and it arrived the following morning.. excellent service and I definitely recommend this company for knowledge of products and services.

"In Stock actually means In Stock" shock
I placed an order for an item with another dealer and several e-mails (and months!) later I gave up, thinking that there must be supply issues with that product. Then another search online brought me to FutureShop who claimed to have the item in stock, ready for despatch. I ordered and braced myself for an e-mail explaining the item was "on order" but three days later it was delivered and I wondered why I hadn't ordered from them in the first place! I know for next time.

Compared to the majority of large online retailers futureshop has a degree of specialist knowledge that is refreshingly welcome from staff who are also very involved and interested in your purchase without being patronising.
They also carry a large range of quality hifi brands but of course cannot give you a personal audition of the product you wish to purchase. For this you need a local hifi dealer which for some of us are increasingly unavailable.

I ordered speaker cable, it arrived very quickly, but it was not a pair, I then realised I had only ordered one cable, so another order placed, and an e mail sent, and quickly replied to, and they sent the second cable, out the same day, which also arrived the next day..Faultless service, best price for the cable(even beating Richer Sounds).. Futureshop is one of the best hifi retailers on the market, great service. very competitively priced.

Very impressed
phone answered almost immediately and Gary was both very professional and a joy to talk to. My slightly unusual order was dealt with effortlessly and the goods arrived a few days later, several days ahead of the expected delivery date and were in excellent condition. Not surprisingly I have now returned to order more goods from 'futureshop' and received equally as impressive service, once again from Gary. Nice one!

The Team at futureshop are extremely helpful and proactive; add to these business winning attributes, there is a depth of trade knowledge and ability to link that to a Customer's needs that one rarely finds; linked to these positives is the fact that their products not only do what it states on the tin...the kit usually outperforms even those claims! phoned me to let me know my item was out of stock and that I had option to cancel or wait a couple of weeks until it became available.
this was no problem as not urgent and I was quite happy to wait my experience is most items are in stock and are delivered promptly, but it is really good to get an update when there is a short delay - many other companies do not bother to communicate properly with their customers
