The jacket is great and very unique I’ve not seen anyone wearing one in England yet, that’s one reason I chose it plus the brand produces good quality clothing, its warm has very good wind resistance, I had to wear it once on a motorcycle without any issues at high speeds because I was late for an appointment, the jacket has lots of interesting feature's in the build quality you can’t appreciate them looking at photos, the Zip is very good quality, but I’d be happier if it was more chunky like the one on my Canada goose bomber jacket. I would of liked a faster delivery option I would of happily paid extra for that, I ordered the coat mid day Saturday, it was despatched Monday landed in England on Wednesday night and it arrived Friday morning.

Poor customer service & didn't receive items. My order was confirmed but never went through and I wasn't informed. Payment did not come out. I had purchased on Black Friday sale. I didn't receive confirmation email, so I emailed customer service and was assured that the order was confirmed and would take 4-7 business days to dispatch. When I emailed about it again, I was told the payment didn't work (despite it showing as confirmed on my booking confirmation screenshot)and I needed to put my order through online - but at the raised prices. When I asked about why I had to pay the full price considering I had a confirmation number for the sale price, I was given a 10% discount code which didn't cover the difference. The code ended up not working. I once again emailed with a screenshot, and was told they had no IT issues and that the code should work. It didn't work and didn't apply any 10% discount at checkout. But they did not address the fact that the code didn't cover the difference between sale and full prices. I left it at that. Funnily enough, I got notifications from the Shop app about this order being created, and then I was sent an email to review my order - which I never even received. Carhartt had many chances to rectify the issue as I emailed them so many times, but failed to do so. Polite emails with absolutely no substance.

Price quite high for what you get. Value not really there. The materials were satisfactory but the trousers I purchased are not really as good quality as the trousers I purchased 4 years ago even though I paid a premium price.

Medium size is a european large I would say. So not happy and think you should ajuste the sizes so normal people can bye your clothe and trust the size that is advertised.

Multi-purpose Boots

I ordered these because I was looking for a pair of saftey boots that I could use for carpentry as well as some light hiking. When I first tried them on they were quite uncomfortable on the bridge of my feet when walking, I later found that this was due to a peice of suede between the steel cap and the laces that was pushing against the top of my feet when the boot was flexing, so after a bit of wearing in / pushing this flap down and loosening the laces they are now very comfortable. They look great for work or walking around. They kind of feel like a hybrid between trainers and work boots. They're also really easy to take on and off.

Your delivery was swift, but it was an expensive item for us (our sons Christmas present) and we did not receive any tracking or delivery notification, it was only by coincidence we were here to receive it as we had left home for a long weekend away but popped back home as we'd forgotten something, however give the driver his due, I left a note for any deliveries to be left in a safe place and he put it there but we'd just arrived back home in time, otherwise it would of been outside to the elements for 4 days on our secluded patio

Easy option to trial items. Ordering and returns a doddle.

It’s a good online shop, the prices are a little more than you can find online but the ordering process has been combed over and works better than previously experienced. Previous annoyances have been well taken care of and compensated. items arrive quickly considering they come from “over the sea” what I like most is the ease of return. You get a self adhesive label in with the order. Minimum order for free delivery is low this all makes it a no brainer for trying items out, refunds seem a little swifter but still “unhurried”

Great easy transaction. Well done on the quick delivery. My only grumble was this was a Christmas present for my Hubby and as it was delivered with Carhartt plastered all over the packaging this kind of spoilt the surprise for my Husband as he received the parcel! So things to do better would be perhaps less obvious packaging at this time of year. Not sure about the fit yet because although he knows where’s it’s from he still doesn’t know what’s inside.

Not as good as they used to be . . .

I think the cut has deteriorated since the last time I bought a Detroit (is that right?) jacket. The collar is enormous and it’s built to home an enormous belly which I still don’t have 30 years later. Also the lining is baggy and made of some unnatural fabric which irritates my skin, instead of the original blanket material whatever that was. Is it possible that carhartt made for the American market is of better quality? I hope somebody reads this!

Chat staff superb

Easy to use website. Only problem is if you use it in Edge - the payment buttons just take you to an error screen, but that's okay, just move to Chrome or some other browser just for that shop. Good quality gear and not too expensive. When I had problems using it in Edge the chat staff were very helpful. When we finally twigged it might be my browser it was very easy (once I'd switched to Chrome).

Excellent quality, great customer service.

Trousers arrived quite quickly and were of a great quality. However the fit was great in the waist but too tight around crotch and thighs. I have returned the trousers and will reorder a larger size once i have my refund back. They lost the star as i couldn't organise a larger size to be shipped once they received the return. Excellent customer service, apart from that minor irritation.
